😊 The Home Tab is the default starting point in Microsoft Word. It contains the most frequently used commands for formatting text and organizing your document's structure.
1 Clipboard
Used for moving and copying content within or between documents.
🌟 Paste: Inserts the contents of the clipboard (Ctrl + V).
🌟 Cut: Removes selected text to the clipboard (Ctrl + X).
🌟 Copy: Duplicates selected text to the clipboard (Ctrl + C).
🌟 Format Painter: A powerful tool that copies only the formatting (font, color, size) from one piece of text and applies it to another.
2. Font
👉 Font Name & Size: Change the typeface (e.g., Calibri, Arial) and the text size.
👉 Emphasis: Bold (B), Italic (I), Underline (U), and Strikethrough.
3. Paragraph
⭐ Lists: Bullets, Numbering, and Multilevel lists for hierarchy.
⭐ Alignment: Left, Center, Right, or Justified (aligned to both margins).
⭐ Indentation: Increase or decrease the margin space for a paragraph.
⭐ Line Spacing: Adjusts the vertical gap between lines of text.
⭐ Shading & Borders: Adds background colors or border lines to entire paragraphs.
⭐ Sort: Organizes selected text or numerical data into alphabetical or numerical order.
4. Styles
🙂 Normal: The default body text.
🙂 Headings (1, 2, 3): Used for titles and sections. Applying these automatically generates a Table of Contents in the References tab.
🙂 Title/Subtitle: High-level formatting for the start of documents.
5. Editing
🔴 Find: Searches for specific words or phrases (Ctrl + F).
🔴Replace: Swaps one word for another throughout the entire document (Ctrl + H).
🔴Select: Allows you to select all text or objects with specific shared formatting.
